SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — PharmaResearch, a regenerative medicine company led by CEO Jihoon Sohn, announced on the 21st that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with renowned Chinese cosmetics company CCM to expand REJURAN COSMETICS in the Chinese market.
CCM is an investment-driven Chinese cosmetics brand management company. Since its establishment in 2002, CCM has built a comprehensive portfolio across six key segments: mass skincare, mother & baby and youth care, personal care, color cosmetics, dermocosmetics, and premium skincare, and owns multiple well-recognized brands both domestically and internationally, including Kans, newpage, and ARMIYO. In 2025, CCM recorded total revenue of RMB 9.178 billion, ranking second among cosmetics groups in China.
The MOU was signed to support the successful establishment and localization of REJURAN COSMETICS in the Chinese market, and the two companies plan to establish a joint venture (JV) in the future to maximize synergies from the partnership. PharmaResearch plans to pursue cooperation beyond the supply of finished REJURAN COSMETICS products, including the development of localized products and the use of the REJURAN COSMETICS brand. The specific business structure and scope of cooperation will be finalized within this year.
A PharmaResearch official said, “To support the global expansion of REJURAN COSMETICS, we have identified rapid market responsiveness and strict quality control as key priorities and are building manufacturing and supply chain systems in major strategic markets that can implement our proprietary technologies. In the U.S., we are expanding our local production base through the acquisition of cosmetics CDMO company CG USA, while in China, we plan to accelerate commercialization by working with CCM, which has deep expertise in product R&D, brand building, and sales operations.”
Lyu Yixiong, Chairman and CEO of CCM, said, "CCM and the PharmaResearch Group share the same DNA — long-termism and R&D-first. I have great respect for PharmaResearch's long-standing commitment to R&D investment and product innovation, especially its deep accumulation and expertise in PDRN and regenerative medicine-related fields. We look forward to both parties learning from each other, empowering one another, and achieving win-win outcomes on this foundation. This partnership is expected to usher in a new era for China-Korea beauty cooperation."
